Post Poned MCA 1 year 1sem Exam:
HYDERABAD: With one more adding to the series of unfortunate events, which the City of Hyderabad has been witnessing for the past three months, once again the examinations of Osmania University and affiliated colleges have been postponed to April 7.
OU officials informed that the decision has been taken after an emergency meeting held under the aegis of OU Vice- Chancellor T Tirupati Rao and Controller of Examination here today.As per the earlier schedule, the undergraduate (degree) and MCA exams of the university and affiliated colleges are to be held from Wednesday (March 31) onwards.``We have postponed the exams as there is lot of disturbance in some parts of the City. In this scenario, we cannot neglect the interests of thousands of students who stay in those areas,’’ Osmania University spokesperson BS Rao said and added that the schedule of the exams from April 7 onwards would be made available on the university website shortly at www.osmania.ac.in.OU officials have also informed that all the three year degree examinations and MCA exams (first semester of first year and second year) have also been postponed.Earlier, on several occasions the university had to postpone the examinations due to Telangana agitation.
