Notification for Education Common Entrance Test by Osmania University
Hyderabad: Applications are invited for Education Common Entrance Test Ed.Cet 2010 for selection of candidates for admission in to B.Ed regular course in Colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2010-11.
Ed.CET 2010 Eligibility: Graduates in various disciplines are eligible to write Ed.CET 2010 test. But, this time, there is slight change in percentage of marks in qualifying exam to get eligibility. Candidates should have secured 50% mark in either in Bachelors degree like B.A., B.Sc., B.Com (Home Sciences), BCA, BBM or any other Masters Degree equaling to qualification. However, for reserved category candidates, it is 40% marks in qualifying exam.

- Date of Commencement of sale of Ed.CET 2010Applications: 18th March 2010.
- Last date for submission of filled in Ed.CET 2010Applications: 29th April 2010 before 5 PM.
- Ed.CET 2010 Test Date : Sunday 13th June 2010 11.00AM to 01.00 PM
Applications Sales and Submission :
-Cost of Ed.CET 2010 Application: Rs.150/-
-Applications are available at major Andhra Bank branches and E-Seva Centers.
-Students should submit duly filled Ed.CET 2010 application form and OMR cum ICR sheet in person or by post to the Convener, Ed.CET 2010, Department of Education, IASE, Osmania University, Hyderabad. 500 007, on or before above said schedule.
Online Submission of forms: Students can also submit their application forms online and also can download from the websites mentioned in the notification. However, a copy of the application downloaded along with two passport size photographs and Demand Draft for Rs.150/- drawn at any Nationalised Bank, in favor of The Secretary, APSCHE payable at Hyderabad must to be sent to the Convener, Ed.CET 2010, Department of Education, IASE, Osmania University, Hyderabad. 500 007.
